Mission
Our purpose at LGS is to assist students develop skills as well as confidence in their own abilities. This is best achieved through creating a nurturing environment and encouraging an exploration of the child’s world through activity based learning. LGS believes that a challenging academic environment rewards the spirit of inquiry, creativity and independent thought process; develops a sense of purpose and pride in achievement; instills a sense of responsibility towards society and leads to the holistic development of a young person. It is our aim that young adults graduating from LGS be equipped to seek academic continuity in the top ranking institutions of higher education within the country and abroad.

Lahore Grammar School Private Limited was established in January 1979.
Lahore Grammar School was established in January 1979 in Lahore by a group of women with a commitment to quality education and with the aim of providing a creative alternative to the existing educational facilities available in the country. The initial focus of LGS was the promotion of female education. However, the focus expanded to include boys and the first branch for male children was established in 1992.LGS offers Matric/O‚Äô and A ‚ÄòLevel to both boys and girls. The school now has several branches in the city of Lahore and in most major cities of the country – Quetta, Karachi, Multan, Faisalabad, Gujranwala, Shiekhupura, Sialkot, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Sargodha, Wah Cantt Peshawar, Gujrat and Rahimyar Khan. Opening of branches in other cities is also under consideration.
In April 1997, Lahore Grammar School started another network called the Landmark Project to cater to the need of the middle income group. The Landmark Project has many branches in Lahore and will be opening branches in other cities.
The Board of Directors of LGS has also extended its educational network, known as the ILM Schools, to children from lower income groups.
