KICA is affiliated with renowned local organizations including Sindh Board of Technical Education (SBTE), Benazir income support youth development program and national vocational & tecnical training commission. On international level, it is officially associated with City & Guild. The institute is devoted to offer quality culinary experience to students in the best working environment, furnished with modern electrical equipments, well organized training and discussion classes. With international standard of coursework, dedicated and reputed chef instructors, a strong vision and a clear focus, KICA is all set to put the greatest effort in becoming the country’s biggest center of exceptional culinary and hospitality education.

      KICA aims to disseminate world-class culinary and hospitality education, setting highest standards of quality learning and training in Pakistan. In recognition of its efforts to employ best practices for culinary schooling and apprenticeship, World Association of Chefs Societies (WACS) has officially approved KICA as the first best institute for state of the art culinary education and training facility in Pakistan. With this honor, KICA’s prime objective is to maintain its reputation as the hallmark of culinary education in the region.

      WHAT WE FACILITATE OUR STUDENTS

      The facilities at KICA give trainees the opportunity to acquire skills, which are necessary for a successful career growth within the hospitality and catering industry. For this purpose, a combination of lectures, training videos and live demonstrations are used to teach the theoretical and culinary skills. At the end of each term, students are assessed through case studies, discussions, presentations, group and individual assessments, practical and theory tests.KICA features small, hands-on classes with attentive, distinguished chef instructors. The Institute has its own state-of-the-art food production unit, including a training kitchen, bakery; learning resource centre and latest IT facilities.

      With a view to provide real life hands on training to the students, KICA has agreements with renowned and leading hospitality establishments in Karachi.
