In the words of Maria Montessori, “Education is a natural process Рand is acquired not by listening to words, but by experiences in the environment.” At New Century Schooling System, we enable our students to have these experiences that shape their lives. Our students leave here with the self-esteem and inner motivation they need to think and act independently and responsibly.
Inspired by the philosophy of educator and physician Maria Montessori, Aleem Qureshi established the New Century Schooling System in the year 2000. The school has flourished since then and now offers academic programs for students in primary and secondary, as well as special programs for infants and toddlers. In 2008, NCSS moved to a new double story building on a beautiful, 500 square yard campus.
NCSS has a special focus on developing each child’s unique capabilities through a commitment to the development of self-esteem, responsibility, and independence based on Montessori philosophy, common sense, and current educational research. NCSS is a joyful learning community that expects the involvement of families and faculty and encourages the involvement of the community at large.
